About AcuPractice Seminars

Drs. Jim & Chuck Ventresca

Somewhere around 1998, Dr. Chuck was practicing both acupuncture and chiropractic in New York, when the University of Bridgeport asked him to teach acupuncture to a group of chiropractors in Connecticut. When the official program was over, the docs asked Chuck if he would teach a few more informal classes. At the time, Dr. Jim was working as the academic dean and as a professor at Southwest Acupuncture College. One weekend, while Jim was visiting family in New York, Chuck asked him if he would like to come up to Connecticut for the weekend and sit in on a class. Maybe help out with a little teaching here and there. Dr. Jim was hooked. Within a few years, he'd left the college, and AcuPractice Seminars was born.

With well over 50 years of experience between them, practicing and teaching acupuncture, Drs. Jim and Chuck have designed acupuncture focus programs that teach healthcare providers how to add real acupuncture to their practices.

AcuPractice Seminars go beyond the limitations of what's come to be known as “medical” or “chiropractic“ acupuncture.

We’ve taken the best information on effective treatment and combined it with the most clinically applicable acupuncture theories and techniques. Add an experienced, engaging faculty and we think AcuPractice has matured into a program that offers the best training we know for treating internal disorders, as well as musculoskeletal and neurological ones.

Whether your scope of practice includes acupuncture needles, or only non-invasive techniques like acupressure, laser, or e-stim, we've got you covered.
