Acupuncture Certification Program
Duration: 135 - Hours

This 135-Hour Acupuncture Program is a nine-weekend acupuncture seminar series designed specifically for chiropractors and other practicing health care providers.
Each weekend includes 15 hours of instruction which include both Lecture and Hands-On Demonstration / Practice Sessions.
You'll leave this program with a solid foundation in clinical theories and techniques for treating musculoskeletal disorders, and metabolic disorders ranging from digestive to women's health.
This program has been carefully sequenced, making it equally suitable for doctors with or without previous acupuncture training.
Doctors of chiropractic will find that our program thoroughly prepares you to sit for the NBCE Acupuncture Examination as well as the ACA Diplomate Exam.
Tennessee-Specific Acupuncture Education Requirements
AcuPractice™ Seminars is approved for 135 hours of Chiropractic Acupuncture Training in the State of Tennessee. Chiropractors in the state of Tennessee need a total of 250 hours of acupuncture training to add acupuncture to a chiropractic practice. Chiropractors are permitted to amass 250 hours in a variety of ways. Many chiropractors take our program twice, in order to meet this requirement. While this may sound repetitive, our classes are packed with information, and chiropractors who have taken our program more than once, consistently report that they learn a significant amount more the second time around.
The Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Tennessee has determined that our classes do not qualify for regular continuing chiropractic education. However our classes do fulfill the 6-hours-per-year requirement for continuing education in acupuncture, for chiropractors who practice acupuncture.
Other than in Tennessee, AcuPractice™ Seminars Continuing Chiropractic Education Credits are Accepted by Most States, and are Sponsored by The University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, Department of Continuing Education Chiropractic Continuing Education. The University of Bridgeport requires a $40.00 Fee, paid directly by the participant to the University, for Each Weekend, to award, verify, and record CCEs. Doctors and Students of Chiropractic are responsible for paying these fees to the University.
Most weekends are also approved for 15 PDAs, for Licensed Acupuncturists, by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Please Contact Us for Further Details.
